Gasthof Burgfrieden in Donaustauf

A little expensive in terms of price but very good food

This Sunday we took away Bavarian food to go from the Gasthaus Burgfrieden for the first time (we do this now during the lockdown to support the inns). It was really, really tasty, there was plenty of the best sauce and everything came fresh and hot in the pack, so that everything was still super warm at home. Conclusion: highly recommended!

It was really delicious. There was so much sauce on the plate that it lasted to the end. TOP One thing I found bothering something. The salad was also in a sauce drink, which I don't really like with oil sauce. Otherwise everything is great :) Friendly and clean toilets. Was a good recommendation.

Great, cozy beer garden under old chestnuts, very attentive and friendly service, delicious food and beer, a detour here, not only before or after the Walhalla visit, is absolutely recommendable.

Attention is paid to hygiene. Tables are disinfected. Food was quick and delicious!

I am absolutely thrilled with this inn. We have now spent several club evenings there and each time we enjoy lovingly prepared top quality dishes. The staff always treated us very friendly and courteous. We felt so comfortable that we completely forgot the time. That's exactly how it should be! <3

The kitchen must be extremely good, because anyone who treats his guests in such a high-handed and arrogant manner would otherwise have long been broke. We left before the drinks, as the host wasn't willing to learn either. But you can't blame him for that personally, because he didn't understand the arguments put forward.

Super great beer garden! Mega friendly staff, great value for money and the food tip top! Everything fresh and homemade! Second time here and it definitely won't stay twice! We'd love to come back :)

Classic 08/15 beer garden, food 08/15, service friendly but a little slow, older clientele, prices in relation to the portion size like the food rather "hearty". Nothing special where you absolutely have to go again, but it's good to sit down.

Nice, cozy atmosphere with nice, (child) friendly and careful service. The food was great and plentiful. We would love to come back.

Very delicious food, homemade, we loved it. Best meal of our vacation. The chef is also a confectioner and the homemade cakes tasted delicious.

Nice, rustic inn with interesting flair, good food and fair prices. Large portions and excellent service. Very clean, hygienic toilets.

Delicious. All very friendly. Lunch menu contains all the essentials. It is particularly positive that you can take your bike with you into the beer garden and then you can use a parking space for it.

Wednesday is schnitzel day. The mushroom schnitzel was very good (fresh champions) and an excellent mixed salad. The filled schnitzel with potato salad was also very well prepared. The nice and courteous service rounded the whole thing off. We will come back.

So we enjoyed it very much, they have a nice beer garden, nice, friendly waiters also in the restaurant itself it is also nice. The food was also good what you want more.

Nice, old tavern with hearty kitchen. Very nice, shady and cozy beer garden. The food offered to suit the environment. Unfortunately, the quality is moderate, but the prices for this kind of restaurant far too high. The service is totally overwhelmed and requires a lot of patience from the guests. The location is easy to reach, parking is sufficiently available.

Worst service I've ever encountered. I was ignored for 45 min, didn't even get a menu. Then when the waitress finally came to me, I order 1 beer,and I waited another 45 mins before 8 finally got up and left. 1.5 hours and I got nothing. The place wasn't even that busy. Avoid!!

Good food, good service, resonable prices.
